The concept of time. Time is what humans haven’t conquered yet. It’s so formidable that it feels trustworthy. Only if you could take a slice of time and get a taste of it.
We don’t know what time looks like. When and where do we ‘feel’ time? The writing of numbers like ‘12:30’ doesn’t draw a full picture of the concept of time. Drawings of clocks and watches doesn’t equal to ‘time’.
You visit your mom’s house for holidays and notice rust in some of the fences. She says she hasn’t noticed it. Driving old highways, you see the softened edges of mountain range. Noises of children outside. Slouched light of sunset.
Only if you could take a slice of time and keep it in your pocket.
